Job summary

Aflac is seeking a seasoned software professional to lead development and Workday configuration efforts across our distributed platform. You will drive architectural decisions, build integrations, and mentor junior developers in a dynamic environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with security standards, and contribute to ongoing platform improvements, including Workday benefits and wellness configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and 4+ years in release practices.
• Experience with Workday configuration and leave management.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior developers; Scrum and DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides architectural design and maintenance for platform environments (COTS, SaaS, ERP).
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Plans software upgrades, patching, and plugin installations.
• Monitors performance and capacity; resolves issues.
• Designs, develops, configures, and maintains integrations to platform applications.
• Adheres to security and coding standards for resilience and data protection.
• Reviews business requirements to deploy optimal solutions and configurations.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to communicate status and proposals.
• Deploys platform applications tailored to company needs.
• Performs other duties as required.
