Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering (Infrastructure) team. The role focuses on building large distributed components that power Facebook-scale systems with sub-second latency and fault-tolerance.

You will drive technical direction, mentor engineers, and lead cross-functional initiatives across the organization from vision to execution. Ideal candidates have extensive experience across C/C++/Java/C#, server applications, and multi-year roadmapping.

Qualifications

• 12+ years coding experience in C, C++, Java and/or C#
• 12+ years experience building server applications
• Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts
• Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmap with long-term vision
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading projects with industry-wide impact
• Significant experience in mentoring/influencing engineers across organizations
