Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering (Infrastructure) team in Menlo Park. You will drive the team's technical direction, design large-scale distributed systems, and mentor other engineers to scale platforms for massive traffic and reliability.

This role requires leadership across cross-functional teams, roadmap planning, and influencing the organization to improve performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• 12+ years coding experience in C, C++, Java and/or C#.
• 12+ years experience building server applications and systems.
• Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts.
• Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmap in which shorter-term projects ladder to the long term vision.
• Experience leading projects with industry-wide impact.
• Significant experience in mentoring/influencing engineers across organizations.
• Vast experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
