Job summary

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is seeking a Senior Platform Developer to design, develop, and maintain SharePoint and Power Platform solutions across firm-wide environments. You will build scalable, secure, user-centric apps using Power Apps, Power Pages, SPFx, and Power Automate, and integrate AI features with Copilot and AI Builder.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and administering SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
• Deep experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Subscription Edition, including site configuration, farm administration, and SPFx development.
• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Strong skills in SPFx, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, custom connectors, and integration with SQL Server and Dataverse.
• Familiarity with Teams, OneDrive, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL is a plus.
• Proficiency in PowerShell (including PnP modules), Power Fx, and GitHub for automation, provisioning, and version control.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom SharePoint and Power Platform solutions across online and on-prem environments.
• Integrate Power Platform apps with internal and external systems using REST APIs and Microsoft Graph.
• Develop governance, security, and deployment processes with a focus on compliance.
• Mentor junior developers and citizen developers, driving tool adoption and best practices.
• Lead agile delivery, coordinate with legal and business teams, and manage multiple priorities.
