Job summary

Cliff Services Inc in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to drive SDLC, DevEx and DevSecOps across large-scale enterprise delivery environments. You will design automation, integrate platforms, and enable engineering teams to accelerate secure software delivery.

The role requires 7+ years in platform engineering or related fields, and deep knowledge of GitLab Enterprise, CI/CD, and security practices.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of platform engineering or related tech experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant technology experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years of education and/or relevant work experience including 5 years in platform engineering/DevOps.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise developer platforms (GitLab, SonarQube, Artifactory, Mend, CI/CD platforms).
• Experience building and supporting large-scale enterprise software delivery environments.
• Experience designing automation, platform integrations, APIs, and engineering enablement solutions.
• Experience supporting secure software development and DevSecOps practices.

Education and Experience Require

dAssociate's degree and a minimum of 7 years of platform engineering, DevOps, software engineering, developer tooling, systems engineering, or related technology experience; or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant technology experience

.In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years of education and/or relevant work experience, including a minimum of 5 years of platform engineering, DevOps, software engineering, or enterprise tooling experience

.Expert experience with one or more enterprise developer platforms including GitLab, SonarQube, Artifactory, Mend, CI/CD platforms, or related SDLC technologies

.Experience building and supporting large-scale enterprise software delivery environments

.Experience designing and implementing automation, platform integrations, APIs, and engineering enablement solutions

.Experience supporting secure software development and DevSecOps practices

.Education and Experience Preferre

• dExpert knowledge of GitLab Enterprise capabilities including SCM, CI/CD, Duo, runners, governance, and platform administration
• .Experience operating Enterprise Developer Experience (DevEx) or Internal Developer Platform (IDP) solutions
• .Experience with software supply chain security, dependency management, SBOMs, and vulnerability remediation
