Job summary

Pivotal Health is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, scale, and harden the foundation powering our AI-driven healthcare reimbursement platform.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to evolve our cloud architecture, improve reliability and security, and ensure the platform scales with more customers and complexity. The role emphasizes thoughtful design and practical trade-offs across services, data flows, and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or software engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong coding skills, Python preferred; hands-on cloud-native systems experience.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve platform architecture to support long-term growth.
• Develop tooling and automation to improve reliability and observability.
• Own infrastructure as code and automation across environments.
• Design scalable, secure interactions and data flows within the platform.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and testing pipelines to surface meaningful signal.
