Job summary

Judi Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Platform Developer II to scale and secure our Unified Claims Processing platform. You will drive infrastructure-as-code, automate release pipelines, and partner with product teams to deliver scalable SaaS capabilities.

You'll own AWS-based infrastructure, container orchestration, observability, and security compliance, while mentoring engineers and supporting a 24/7 on-call rotation to maintain high availability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as Platform/DevOps/SRE.
• Deep expertise in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, IAM, Kinesis.
• Proficient with Terraform, Python, SQL, and automation tooling.
• Extensive experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
• CI/CD systems experience (GoCD, GitHub Actions, Harness).
• Security/compliance experience (FISMA, SOC 2, FedRAMP).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable, secure platform infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and provisioning tools (GoCD, Harness, Terraform).
• Write clean Python code for automation and tooling.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL/Redshift/Redis for performance and data integrity.
• Administer and tune container orchestration (EKS, ECS).
• Implement serverless architectures with AWS Lambda.
• Collaborate with development teams to align infra with app needs.
• Lead security best practices and compliance efforts (HIPAA/SOC II).</=
• Monitor systems performance and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve platform capabilities.
