Job summary

Judi Health in New York, NY is seeking a Platform Developer to build and scale a secure cloud platform. You will drive automation, implement IaC, and ensure scalable, observable services across our SaaS platform.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and strengthen security practices while supporting 24/7 production operations in a hybrid work model across NYC, Denver and Charlotte.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE.
• Strong AWS expertise (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3).
• Proficient in Terraform, Python, SQL and automation.
• Docker plus Kubernetes/EKS experience.
• SQL DB administration including PostgreSQL.
• CI/CD tooling experience (GoCD, GitHub Actions, Harness).
• Observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana).
• Security/compliance with FISMA, SOC 2, FedRAMP.
• Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• 24/7 on-call production support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support highly available, scalable platform and infrastructure.
• Maintain automation pipelines for CI/CD and infrastructure provisioning (GoCD, Harness, Terraform).
• Write clean Python for automation and tooling development.
• Manage databases (PostgreSQL, Redshift, Redis) for performance and integrity.
• Fine-tune container orchestration (EKS, ECS).
• Implement serverless architectures with AWS Lambda.
• Collaborate with teams to align infra with app requirements.
• Enforce security best practices (HIPAA, FISMA, SOC II, FedRAMP).
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize operations.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and incident response.
• Adopt Agile/Scrum; contribute to sprint ceremonies.
• Evaluate new tech to boost platform capabilities.
• Develop tooling and SQL scripts for operations.
• Implement observability best practices for SaaS services.
