SnapLogic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform team. You will work across the stack to keep our services resilient, scalable, and production-ready for enterprise customers, from pipelines to the data layer and operational tooling.

This generalist role requires ownership across design to production rollout, with deep dives into MongoDB clusters and database tuning. A hybrid role based in San Mateo, CA with two days in the office per week.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years building and operating production backend systems.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Java or Python; able to learn new stacks.
• Experience operating distributed systems in production—debugging and capacity planning.
• Track record of taking features from design to production and owning them after launch.
• Solid grasp of relational or NoSQL databases: performance, indexing, schema design.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate services and infrastructure that make up SnapLogic's control plane.
• Take end-to-end ownership from design through production rollout and monitoring.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, and scalability across services and data layer.
• Investigate and resolve production issues and turn fixes into durable improvements.
• Contribute to data-layer work: query and index tuning, schema reviews, shard and cluster ops, capacity planning.
• Partner with Platform, SRE, and app teams to maintain zero-downtime SLA.
• Raise the bar on engineering quality via code and design reviews.
