Job summary

Alkami Technology seeks a Sr Platform Engineer to improve reliability of the MANTL platform. You will work primarily in TypeScript within a containerized, Kubernetes-based environment, focusing on incident prevention and performance improvements.

You will implement monitoring, tracing, and resilient design patterns, while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and cross-team reliability initiatives. This is a remote-first US role with emphasis on scalable systems and SRE-style practices.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with production experience in a Node.js/TypeScript service environment.
• Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting containerized workloads in Kubernetes.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reliability issues in the platform application code.
• Design, configure, and maintain monitoring, dashboards, and alerting (Datadog preferred).
• Diagnose and remediate application performance issues, including caching and slow queries.
• Build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and container-native workloads (Kubernetes).
• Create and maintain runbooks documenting reliability issues and remediations.
