Job summary

Filigran is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and help run, secure, and scale the XTM platform and our bare-metal Kubernetes cloud across clouds and on-prem environments.

You will design, deploy, and operate production Kubernetes clusters, codify deployments with Helm charts and Ansible, and own CI/CD pipelines while ensuring reliability in an international, remote-first setting. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps or Cloud Engineer.
• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Ansible skills and experience writing and maintaining Helm charts.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Comfortable working on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP…), or strongly willing to learn.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) and an observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana…).
• A security mindset: you think about secrets, access, network exposure and blast radius by default.
• An AI-oriented mindset: you already use AI tools and agents in your work, or you’re eager to start, and you review their output with a critical eye.
• Willingness to code: read/write scripts and tooling (mostly Python).
• Comfortable in a remote-first, asynchronous team with ownership and autonomy.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal infrastructure and public clouds.
• Roll out and operate Filigran products in new regions and on new providers as the SaaS footprint expands.
• Develop and maintain deployment methods: Helm charts, Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines, and a virtual appliance for on-prem environments.
• Keep SaaS instances available and reliable; improve observability, monitoring, capacity planning, incidents, and post-incident reviews.
• Harden the platform for regulated environments (FedRAMP, SecNumCloud).
• Use AI agents throughout daily work while reviewing outputs.
• Help design the playground for agents: make repositories, documentation and guardrails agent-friendly.
• Take problems from first signal to shipped solution with documented decisions.
