Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own the analytics platform for the NitroAI team, focusing on AWS and Kubernetes, with high autonomy to shape the platform. You will balance performance, cost, and reliability while prioritizing compliance from day one.

You will lead GitOps, CI/CD, incident response, and observability, driving secure, scalable infrastructure across environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering focusing on automation and distributed systems.
• 3+ years on AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) with production workload management.
• Expert GitLab CI/CD, Bash scripting, and Docker runner management.
• ArgoCD and GitOps experience across multiple environments.
• Terraform IaC, AWS services, and security-baseline knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS and Kubernetes platform reliability, cost, and performance.
• Lead GitOps deployments and configuration management.
• Own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and Docker runners.
• Manage incident response and post-mortems for the platform.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and log visibility for analytics.
• Maintain security baselines and access controls.
