Job summary

Veeva Systems seeks an Associate DevOps Engineer to support AWS and Kubernetes analytics infra for a 50-person global consulting team. You will run day-to-day operations, ensure reliability, and collaborate with internal engineers to resolve issues with empathy and clear communication.

You will build GitOps deployments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and help migrate to a new AI-native stack while supporting the NitroAI initiative to advance Veeva’s data platform and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and runners.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices (ArgoCD or similar).
• Exposure to Terraform or another IaC tool.
• Strong communication and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to coordinate with engineers and unblock tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of the AWS and Kubernetes platform for a global team.
• Build & Maintain GitOps deployments and configuration management.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot failed builds.
• Act as first responder on platform incidents and document post-mortems.
• Maintain platform observability with monitoring and alerts.
• Migrate the 50-person team to a new AI-native stack.
• Assist in building the NitroAI application to learn Veeva methods.
