Entrust is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and lead the implementation of private data center Infrastructure-as-a-Service capabilities. The role covers translating service architecture into automated, consumable infrastructure services, starting with self-service networking and expanding to compute, storage, and platform services.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, network engineering, software engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, or automation roles.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise networking: routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, IPAM, security policy.
• Experience designing automation-driven infrastructure services in enterprise environments.
• Proven private cloud / internal IaaS implementation experience.
• Proficient with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Architects and leadership to implement private cloud and IaaS strategy.
• Shift from ticket-based fulfillment to self-service and automated provisioning.
• Translate target architecture into scalable, automated infrastructure services.
• Lead design and implementation of self-service networking and compute, storage, and platform services.
• Develop integration patterns between virtualization, network, storage, security, and service management.
• Create API-based integrations across infrastructure platforms and orchestration tools.
• Define components to support a service catalog, onboarding, and consumption framework.
• Establish IaC, NaC, and automated provisioning practices.
• Document architectures, automation workflows, and standards.
