Job summary

Entrust is seeking a highly technical Sr. Platform Engineer to design and lead the implementation of private datacenter Infrastructure-as-a-Service capabilities.

This role translates service architecture into automated, consumable infrastructure services, starting with self-service networking and expanding to compute, storage, and load balancing. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, network engineering, software engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering, cloud engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong hands-on networking knowledge: routing, switching, firewall, load balancing, DNS, IPAM, security policies.
• Experience building automation-driven infrastructure services in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record implementing private cloud or internal IaaS and self-service capabilities.
• Experience with IaC and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Architects and domain leads to implement private cloud and IaaS strategy.
• Drive shift to self-service and automated provisioning.
• Translate target architectures into scalable, automated infrastructure services.
• Lead design and implementation of self-service networking, compute, storage, and platform services.
• Develop API-based integrations across infrastructure platforms and service management tools.
• Establish Git-based development practices for infrastructure automation.
