Job summary

Entrust Corporation is seeking a highly technical Sr. Platform Engineer to design and lead the implementation of private datacenter Infrastructure-as-a-Service capabilities.

You will translate architecture into automated, consumable services starting with self-service networking and expanding to compute, storage, load balancing, and more. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering with hands-on experience in enterprise networking, automation, and IaC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, network engineering, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of infrastructure/platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, or automation roles.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including routing, switching, segmentation, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, IPAM, and security policy enforcement.
• Experience designing automation-driven infrastructure services in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience implementing private cloud, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, platform engineering, or self-service infrastructure capabilities.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python.
• Experience building automated provisioning workflows for networking, compute, storage, or security services.
• Experience with APIs and integrating infrastructure platforms, service management tools, orchestration platforms, and automation pipelines.
• Strong DevOps practices including Git-based change control, CI/CD pipelines, code review, testing, and release management for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Network as Code and network automation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with architects and domain leads to implement private cloud and IaaS strategy.
• Drive self-service and automated provisioning in infrastructure.
• Design and implement self-service networking, compute, storage, and platform services.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows, templates, and service blueprints for standardized delivery.
• Build reusable automation modules and pipelines for networking, compute, storage, and security services.
• Develop API-based integrations across infrastructure platforms and orchestration tools.
• Establish Git-based development practices for infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
• Define components for a service catalog and onboarding model to enable consumption-based infrastructure.
