Job summary

Intelliswift - An LTTS Company is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Datacenter Engineering Group to manage OpenShift workloads, automate cloud and on‑prem services, and drive platform reliability. You will work across AWS and GCP, leveraging Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to deliver scaleable infrastructure.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, SRE principles, and strong scripting in Python or Bash, with collaboration in an Agile environment and a strong focus on security and performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift, including OpenShift Virtualization and Kubernetes.
• Experience provisioning images and templates for OpenShift workloads.
• Hands-on experience in AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Experience with multi-cloud security models and cross-account delivery.
• Experience with VMware and Linux/Windows server administration.
• Foundational system administration and network fundamentals.
• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and playbooks.
• Ability to build and maintain Ansible content to automate cloud and on-prem services.
• Knowledge of OS hardening, templating deployments from standardized images.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and automation endpoints.
• Understanding of security best practices and secrets management.
• Programming experience in Python, Bash, or similar.
• Git/GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with resilient system design and disaster recovery.
• Agile methodologies and strong communication skills.
• Curiosity, humility, and pride in work.

Responsibilities

• Manage VM and container workloads on OpenShift Kubernetes platforms.
• Provision and manage images and templates for OpenShift workloads and shared resources.
• Automate on-prem and cloud environments using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Deliver platform services across AWS and/or GCP within multi-account security models.
• Manage OS lifecycle via golden images, patching, and hardening.
• Contribute to resiliency, data protection, and disaster recovery efforts.
• Own automation work from design through delivery in larger projects.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles following coding standards.
• Participate in technology evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document design decisions, estimates, code modules, and performance metrics.
• Lead platform/code walkthroughs and ensure alignment with organization standards.
• Ensure design/performances/security quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze performance data (CPU, memory, storage).
• Engage in agile sprints with the team and communicate technical info clearly.
