Huntress is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to expand our cloud infrastructure and sustain a reliable security platform. You will build, monitor, and scale core services across multi-region environments, owning resilience and delivering measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability stacks, with a focus on speed and quality in production. This is a remote US position with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing Linux-based cloud infrastructure.
• Deep multi-region or multi-cloud resilience experience.
• 3+ years running production workloads in Kubernetes.
• Strong coding in Go, Ruby, or Python for scalable infra tools.
• Proven observability expertise with Datadog.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents and verification needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance cloud infrastructure across multi-region environments.
• Author Kubernetes tools, controllers, and infra code (Terraform/Go/Python/Ruby).
• Enhance observability tooling using Datadog for deep visibility.
• Diagnose production issues and optimize performance across clouds.
• Collaborate across teams to guide architecture and reduce pain points.
