Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a senior Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team in the DMV area. The role focuses on building and scaling a Kubernetes-based platform, enabling rapid and reliable delivery of capabilities and incremental products.

You will collaborate with cross-location teams, implement infrastructure automation, and stay current with platform engineering trends while ensuring security and compliance across environments.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable Kubernetes platforms.
• Strong automation and scripting skills.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes platform solutions, including infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain core platform components ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform and Argo CD.
