Qualifications

• BS or BA or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years relevant experience.
• Mastery of Systems Administration.
• Mastery of Terraform modules.
• Mastery of AWS, Azure, M365, PowerShell, and infrastructure as code.
• Mastery of source control, Gitlab CI/CD, Docker Images, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of IIS, Nginx, C#, and relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Overview

Senior Platform Engineer II

(Hybrid/Local/On-site 2 days/week)

The Senior Platform Engineer II will be responsible for rapidly troubleshooting production problems in systems and services running in Windows and Linux server environments, resolving and improving performance problems, and maintaining tools used by other IS teams, primarily the DevOps and Software Development teams. The role will include extensive coordination with the application, development, and security teams. The Senior Platform Engineer II will also be challenged with helping to enforce the hybrid, multi-cloud strategy and performing administrative functions inside of Azure and AWS tenants to meet the needs of Select Medical's dynamic environment. An ability to rapidly learn new technologies and environments to ensure a superior level of customer service is a must. They are responsible for incorporating and adhering to requirements defined by Select Medical technology standards.
