Job summary

Istaridigital.Ai is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This role focuses on services powering user controls, identity, security, and data access across our platform — including both building on top of Dgraph and contributing to Dgraph internals.

The ideal candidate is proficient in Go and Python and comfortable across the stack. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining identity/security services, secure content sharing, and contributing to analytics

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with backend/platform focus.
• Strong proficiency in Go and Python.
• Experience building secure, scalable systems for identity, access control, or permissions.
• Comfortable working across the stack with backend/services focus.
• Experience with graph databases (Dgraph or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain services governing user controls, identity, and security across the data platform.
• Build and harden secure content sharing capabilities and data access controls.
• Contribute to internal reporting and analytics tooling that surfaces platform data.
• Work on Dgraph internals as needed and build apps on top of Dgraph.
• Partner with platform, integrations, and infra teams to ensure consistent identity and security primitives.
• Drive decisions on data access patterns and permissions models.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code in Go and Python.
• Participate in design reviews and set technical direction for the data platform.
