Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer for the Platform Team to design and operate secure, scalable AI platforms and proxy systems.

You will own the full lifecycle of platform development, drive adoption among engineers, and deliver tested software, automation, and trained models on reliable compute.

Strong Python skills plus Go/Java/TypeScript exposure, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes are highly valued. ITAR and security considerations apply.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/engineering or 2+ years of production software experience.
• Experience building production software systems (platform, backend, or full stack).
• Strong Python and multi-language exposure (Go/Java/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and secure proxy architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AI platforms and proxy systems.
• Own full lifecycle of platform development from design to deployment.
• Drive adoption by supporting engineers and sharing assets.
• Identify high-value opportunities and deliver tested software and models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to connect AI to real tools and workflows.
• Onboard new models, expand compute, and optimize proxies for logging and security.
• Develop tools mitigating risk, such as AI-powered code review and automation.
• Focus on lean, secure applied AI that enhances productivity.
