Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Platform Engineer I for a remote, full‑time position. The role focuses on designing secure, scalable cloud platforms, enabling developer self‑service, and improving automation and observability. The engineer will work across Azure IaaS/PaaS, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and platform tooling to accelerate software delivery and reliability in a healthcare client environment.

Qualifications

3+ years in cloud platform engineering, software or DevOps with hands‑on IaaS/PaaS, AI and containers.
Experience designing IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and automated platform provisioning.
Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and cross‑team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design and implement platform environments across cloud components using Azure IaaS/PaaS.
Deploy containerized platform services and automate infrastructure provisioning.
Develop and maintain reusable platform components and automation frameworks.
Implement security controls, IAM patterns, and governance guardrails.
Enable observability with logging and monitoring; support cost optimization.
Collaborate across teams to improve deployment patterns and tooling.
