Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Platform Engineer I to join our Platform Engineering and DevOps organization. The role focuses on secure, scalable cloud adoption and streamlined software delivery. Remote work is supported with home office requirements and company-provided equipment.

Salary ranges from $138,000 to $143,000 per year on a W2 basis, with comprehensive benefits. The role emphasizes platform reliability, automation, observability, and secure cloud architecture leveraging Azure

Qualifications

3+ years in cloud platform engineering, software or DevOps with hands-on work across IaaS, PaaS, AI and containers.
Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated platform provisioning with scripting language.
Experience contributing to DevOps or DevSecOps with cross-team collaboration.
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and improve platform reliability.
Knowledge of identity and access management and securing cloud resources.
Experience with observability including logging, monitoring and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Implement and design platform environments across cloud compute, storage, networking, and runtime layers (Azure IaaS/PaaS).
Deploy and operate containerized platform-native runtime services.
Implement infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
Develop and enhance reusable platform components and automation frameworks.
Implement security controls and policy enforcement per platform standards.
Manage identity, access, and secrets across platforms.
Enable compliance and governance with automated guardrails.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions and support observability.
Ensure redundant, fault-tolerant, and automated recovery mechanisms.
Monitor platform performance and contribute to cost optimization.
Support developer tooling and CI/CD platform capabilities.
Maintain self-service templates and golden paths.
