Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a mid-to-senior Platform Engineer in the Washington, DC area to build and operate web-based services, infrastructure, and data-collection pipelines. The role spans cloud and on-premises environments and emphasizes automation, orchestration, and developer enablement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree with 2+ years; in lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and maintain web services and the supporting infrastructure.
• Use Git and GitLab CI/CD to develop, test, and deploy tools and services.
• Manage TLS certificates, reverse proxies, and related infrastructure for reliable service delivery.
• Create and maintain data-collection pipelines, automation, and orchestration workflows.
• Support development teams across connected and disconnected environments, including cloud usage.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, iOS signing/sideloading automation, and test infra with containers and IaC.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve infrastructure, observability, and network reliability to support developer productivity.
