Job summary

Astra is hiring for a Platform Engineer to build and own core infrastructure and tooling. You will work across infrastructure-as-code, deployment tooling, and observability, collaborating directly with product engineers to ship features quickly in a real-money, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform/infrastructure engineering with ownership of significant surface area.

Responsibilities

• Own pieces of core platform infrastructure including Terraform migration, VPC/IAM, and environment provisioning.
• Build and maintain tooling and abstractions for product engineers to ship code without infra work from scratch.
• Advance observability foundations and expand metrics collection pipelines.
• Standardize monitoring and alerting for business/financial metrics and synthetic monitoring.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines and enable self-service deployment tooling.
• Support GCP infrastructure work as the platform scales and ensure reliability.
