Job summary

Wrapbook, the AI platform for production finance, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join the PANDA platform enablement team. You will own cross-cutting infrastructure such as approvals, permissions, authentication, and notifications, building scalable backend systems in Ruby on Rails.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts, decompose ambitious projects, optimize data models and queries in PostgreSQL, and contribute to a culture of high ownership

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production web apps and APIs, preferably Ruby on Rails.
• Experience on platform/infrastructure/enablement teams.
• Strong architectural judgment when working on shared systems.
• Ownership mindset with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of RBAC, Auth0, or identity products is a plus.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve cross-cutting platform systems including approvals, permissions, authentication, and notifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts across consuming teams.
• Decompose complex projects into actionable tasks and migration paths.
• Write performant, scalable backend code in Ruby on Rails.
• Design and optimize data models and SQL queries (PostgreSQL).
• Participate in code reviews and mentoring, raise the technical bar.
• Contribute to on-call rotation and incident response.
