Alpaca is seeking a senior software engineer to build the developer platform that agents and partners use to integrate with Alpaca. You will own architecture, code, design reviews, and mentorship while shipping the first version.

You will partner with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Platform Engineering teams to drive the platform forward, advocating best practices and scalable solutions. Candidates should have 5+ years of software engineering experience owning production systems used by

• 5+ years of software engineering experience owning production systems used by developers.
• Shipped a developer-facing API, SDK, or platform as a primary contributor.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and willingness to work primarily in Go.
