Job summary

Harvey is building a scalable, AI-enabled software platform to accelerate developer productivity and automate complex CI/CD workflows. The Developer Experience team creates framework and systems that empower every Harvey engineer to move fast with confidence, delivering robust, reliable software across the stack.

You will work across the full tech stack, shaping the tools and pipelines that enable rapid experimentation, safe releases, and scalable debugging for an AI-native company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building scalable backend systems.
• Proficiency in Python and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with Builtekite and Github Actions.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong code quality, testing, and reliability practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale a world-class developer platform to accelerate Harvey's hyper growth, boosting velocity and stability through robust CI/CD, test frameworks, and reliable dev environments.
• Build load testing and benchmarking infrastructure for evaluating and optimizing AI-native apps.
• Pioneer the future of software development and SRE by integrating AI agents across the dev, deployment and maintenance lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Backend Platform teams to embed testability, reliability and observability into the platform.
• Gather feedback from engineers and evangelize best practices to keep the paved road moving fast.
