Job summary

Harvey is seeking a Software Engineer for the Developer Experience team. You will build the CI/CD systems, internal frameworks, and platform guardrails enabling all Harvey engineers to ship ambitious AI features rapidly and safely.

You will work across the entire tech stack, provide technical leadership, and mentor engineers while applying AI to improve developer productivity in an AI-native company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with backend or platform scale.
• Proficient in Python and distributed systems.
• Hands-on with CI/CD and container technologies.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading architectural decisions.
• Experience integrating AI agents into developer tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale a world-class developer platform to accelerate Harvey's hyper growth with CI/CD systems and robust test environments.
• Build load testing and benchmarking infrastructure for AI-native apps.
• Define and implement the future of software development with AI agents across lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Backend Platform teams to embed reliability and observability.
• Gather feedback from engineering teams and evangelize best practices across the org.
• Set strategic direction and roadmap for scaling developer experience as Harvey grows.
