Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Deploy@Scale team to lead the platform for safe, reliable, and automated deployments at scale. You will shape architecture across multiple streams, set direction, and influence dozens of engineering teams while delivering high-impact changes.

You’ll mentor engineers, review designs, and partner with leadership to define multi-quarter roadmaps. This is a senior IC role focused on long-term reliability and performance of the global network.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering in distributed systems.
• Ability to own architecture end-to-end and lead RFCs.
• Experience with safety, observability, and automation in production.
• Strong written and verbal communication for docs and reviews.
