Job summary

Worldpay, LLC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for Payrix to design, build, operate, and improve the cloud-native platform used by Payrix engineering teams to deliver payments capabilities safely and at scale.

You will sit in the Payrix Platform Engineering team, owning shared infrastructure, CI/CD, IaC, security tooling, and developer experience across PCI-DSS and SOC 2 environments within the Worldpay / Global Payments ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in platform engineering or similar
• 5+ years with cloud infrastructure
• Strong AWS experience
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience (EKS)
• IaC using Terraform or Pulumi
• CI/CD and GitHub Actions experience
• GitHub governance familiarity
• Observability and reliability knowledge
• Experience in regulated environments (PCI-DSS/SOC 2)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and improve the Payrix platform
• Lead IaC standards and automation
• Modernize CI/CD with GitHub Actions
• Partner with engineering teams to enable self-service
• Ensure PCI-DSS and SOC 2 compliant infrastructure
