Job summary

Arrowstreet Capital, a Boston-based systematic investment firm, seeks a senior software developer to design and implement platforms enabling data access across the Arrowstreet Investment Process. You will build microservices, real-time event communication, and a unified web platform for micro front ends.

Qualifications

• Great communication, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated experience interacting and solving problems with users.
• Maturity, accountability, and ownership of projects/tasks.
• Good collaboration with other teams within IT and a mindset for solutions that leverages a common foundation and development principles.
• At least 5 years of experience with Python and/or C#.
• At least 3 years of experience with DevOps / CI/CD pipelines, and Agile Scrum.
• At least 2 years of experience with Cloud, preferably AWS.
• At least 2 years of experience with Docker / Kubernetes / Serverless.
• At least 2 years of working with message / event based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on designing and implementing software platforms for hosting micro services and event-driven real-time communication.
• Develop a common web platform for micro front ends and reliable software solutions.
• Follow software design patterns and best practices; be self-motivated and process-driven.
• Work with software development leads and teams to ensure successful delivery of complex investment ideas.
