Job summary

Arrowstreet Capital in Boston is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design and own the shared platform powering AI systems firm-wide, including inference services, agentic platforms, and developer tooling.

This role emphasizes security by default, auditability, and regulatory compliance in a financial services environment, with collaboration across Security Engineering, AI Integration teams, and core infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as an infrastructure, platform, or systems engineer in large scale environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI.
• Experience designing and implementing MCP registries, gateways, and authorization flows.
• Hands‑on experience with production LLM workloads.
• Experience enforcing AI security controls at platform level in regulated settings.
• Track record building production‑quality agentic AI patterns and developer‑facing services.

Responsibilities

• Platform Infrastructure: design and operate core AI platform, including inference services and access management.
• Design shared integration layers connecting AI platforms to core firm systems.
• Develop AI productivity data pipelines and dashboards for usage and cost metrics.
• Build self-service onboarding and cost-control mechanisms for AI workloads.
• Define reference architectures and patterns for teams to reuse across use cases.
