Job summary

Nexus Black in Houston, TX seeks a senior platform engineer to design and evolve the cloud platform powering our AI products. You will shape infrastructure, security, and deployment standards that let product teams deploy services reliably.

You will own Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability, mentor engineers, and partner with security and product teams to raise the bar for reliability in industrial settings. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

Cloud-native platforms built and operated at scale with Kubernetes and IaC.
Experience with Terraform, CI/CD and GitOps delivery.
Deep knowledge of HA, fault tolerance and secure design.
Strong troubleshooting across distributed systems in production.
Experience with AI/ML or LLM workloads in production.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the platform that powers Nexus Black products.
Design infrastructure and standards for deployment, operation, and evolution of services.
Set reliability, security and deployment quality across the organization.
Build CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for smooth deployments.
Lead and mentor engineers building on the platform.
Develop observability that enables quick action during incidents.
