Job summary

Netflix, Inc. seeks an engineer to scale our developer platforms and own the end-to-end Netflix Cloud developer experience. You will partner across engineering teams to make high-leverage product decisions and drive adoption of platform capabilities.

You will design Tier-0 control planes, ensure reliability and cost efficiency, and define governance primitives for AI agent interactions with Netflix infrastructure, balancing self-serve access with guardrails.

Qualifications

• Built or scaled a developer platform in production.
• Strong product leverage; customer-focused.
• Comfortable in ambiguity; iterates via PoCs.
• Experience with multi-language codebases.
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Scale Netflix’s developer platforms from early adoption to broad usage by making high-leverage product decisions.
• Own the end-to-end Netflix Cloud developer experience across the SDLC, from discovery to deploy and debug.
• Build and run Tier-0 control planes for core infrastructure workflows with reliability and cost accountability.
• Define how AI agents safely interact with Netflix infrastructure via sandboxing, identity, and governance primitives.
• Set the boundary between self-serve and guardrails by choosing platform defaults and guarantees.
