Job summary

Netflix Cloud is hiring engineers to scale Netflix’s developer platforms across the SDLC. You will own the end-to-end developer experience, from discovery to deployment, and build Tier-0 control planes for core infrastructure workflows with a focus on reliability, scalability, and cost.

We value candidates who can design multi-language systems, reason about distributed architectures, and partner across teams to ship high-impact platform features.

Qualifications

• Has built or scaled a developer platform in production.
• High product leverage: make strong product decisions backward from customer goals.
• Comfortable in ambiguity and iterative PoCs.
• Comfortable in a multi-language codebase (Java/Kotlin/Go).
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals: race conditions, synchronization, control planes.

Responsibilities

• Scale Netflix’s developer platforms from early adoption to broad, exponential usage.
• Own the end-to-end Netflix Cloud developer experience across the SDLC, from discovery through deploy, operate, and debug.
• Build and run Tier-0 control planes for core infrastructure workflows with reliability and cost goals.
• Define how AI agents safely interact with Netflix infrastructure with sandboxing and governance primitives.
• Set the boundary between self-serve and guardrails by platform defaults and guarantees.
