Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-based force protection and Digital Twin environments. You will enable an agile, multi-disciplinary team and drive secure, automated infrastructure across OpenShift/Kubernetes, cloud, and edge environments.

The role emphasizes IaC, CI/CD, security best practices, and collaboration with hardware and security teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities. A TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• BS/BA or equivalent plus 7+ years of experience
• 7+ years of cloud/infrastructure engineering experience
• Hands-on with OpenShift, AWS, GCP or Rancher
• Expert Terraform skills with IaC
• Experience operating production Kubernetes clusters (OpenShift/Rancher)
• Experience with containers (Docker/Podman) and CI/CD (Gitlab/Jenkins)
• Scripting/programming abilities
• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support IaC using Terraform or similar
• Build, optimize, and maintain production CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab or Jenkins)
• Create automation with scripts and tooling
• Configure and tune cloud security controls and gateways
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and databases across clouds
• Collaborate to integrate testing into pipelines
• Enforce security best practices for systems and data
• Provision OpenShift/Kubernetes across security domains
• Conduct trade studies on solutions balancing security and ops
• Scale platforms through collaboration with other teams
• Work with Security to maintain ongoing compliance
