Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior leader for Software & Information Platforms to drive the design, development, and optimization of core platforms across cloud environments. You will mentor engineers, establish standards, and partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Development teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, reusable components.

Anticipated salary range is $123,400–$176,300 with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

8-12 years of experience in information technology or related field.
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of hands-on GCP experience with products like Compute Engine, IAM and APIs.
Experience maintaining Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and enhancement of core software & information platforms.
Provide platform metrics and proactively identify patterns to improve platform stability.
Break down complex initiatives into small actionable work items.
Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term stability and performance improvements.
Establish platform standards, governance across cloud architectures, integrations, and application frameworks.
Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into robust platform designs.
Mentor engineers with architectural insights and code reviews.
