Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Software Engineer in Commercial Technologies to join the Software Engineering team. You will develop backend solutions using .NET and Java, mentor junior engineers, and work with product management and architects to refine requirements.

You will drive architectural decisions through enterprise ARB processes and ensure regulatory compliance while building scalable, reusable software.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in software engineering, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in .NET and Java languages and associated tech stacks.
• Familiarity with Kafka and Camunda is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Constantly demonstrates good process and practices.
• Proactively drives forward the development team to deliver business goals and technical deliverables.
• Mentors junior members of the team.
• Collaborates with product management and software architects to refine requirements.
• Drives design and approach through Enterprise ARB and Sonexus ARB.
• Ensures compliance with necessary standards and regulations.
• Builds software for reuse and scalability.
