Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the Tiny Homes Platform, focusing on GKE, Docker, Envoy/Wayfinder, Vantage, Tailscale, Flux CD, and CI/CD tooling. You will work directly with customers to triage deployment blockers and convert patterns into scalable tooling and documentation.

We expect 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong cloud networking and mesh-layer skills, and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in software engineering.
• Docker, GKE and Kubernetes fundamentals.
• Cloud networking knowledge (Vantage, IP tables, identity providers).
• The mesh layer experience with Envoy + Wayfinder + Tailscale.
• CI/CD pipelines experience (Spinnaker, GitOps, Flux CD, GitHub).
• Cloud admission controllers and tenant workload configuration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
