Job summary

DraftKings is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and enhance infrastructure enabling engineers to deploy software reliably at scale. You will work primarily with C#/.NET Core, Kubernetes, GitOps, and cloud technologies to automate deployments and improve platform observability.

You’ll design scalable solutions, mentor peers, and partner with multiple teams to translate requirements into robust capabilities across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with C#/.NET Core.
• Experience building distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and containerization experience.
• Familiarity with GitOps and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP).
• Understanding of SDLC and strong debugging skills.
• Knowledge of canary/blue-green deployment strategies.

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain platform capabilities for engineers.
• Develop scalable, clean software using C#/.NET Core.
• Improve platform infrastructure with automation for reliable delivery.
• Manage Kubernetes environments and automate Helm-based deployments.

• Address issues across distributed systems and mentor engineers.
