Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, ideally with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience building and supporting distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern application deployment practices.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed environments.
• Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and deployment automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog and the ELK Stack.
• Experience with end-to-end performance testing at scale is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain platform capabilities used by engineering teams across DraftKings.
• Develop clean, scalable software, primarily using C# and .NET Core.
• Build and improve platform infrastructure through automation for reliable delivery.
• Manage and enhance Kubernetes-based environments, including Helm-based deployments.
• Apply GitOps practices to improve deployment automation and reliability.
• Create solutions for distributed systems and microservice environments with scalability and resiliency.
• Troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues across distributed environments.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
