This role emphasizes architectural judgment, collaboration with product and design, and a focus on developer experience, with opportunities to influence internal platforms and standards across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building shared APIs, services, or platform components.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineering, product, design.
• Interest in AI-enabled engineering and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable platform foundations: design, develop, and maintain shared systems, services, APIs, and libraries used by multiple teams.
• Develop reusable product capabilities: create shared components and platform primitives for customer experiences.
• Strengthen engineering foundations: contribute to internal libraries, tooling, testing frameworks, and patterns.
• Partner across teams: work with engineering, product, and design to translate requirements into APIs and services.
• Drive technical direction: make architectural decisions and influence strategy across teams.
• Raise engineering standards: participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
• Enable organizational scale: document thoroughly and create systems for broad adoption across the org.
• Contribute to engineering culture: bring strong technical judgment and collaboration.
