Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and modernize an internal development platform using GCP native tech and Kubernetes. You will partner with the Lead Senior Platform Engineer to drive platform strategy, foster innovation, and lead self-service tooling that abstracts infrastructure complexities.

You will also support the Open Source Program Office, building out OSS adoption processes and contributing to security and compliance across cloud-native

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Software/Platform Engineering
• Bachelor's degree completed
• Experience with Kubernetes/GCP and infrastructure tooling

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term platform roadmap
• Manage centralized tooling (GitHub, Sentry, SonarQube, Vault, Terraform)
• Design and maintain scalable GCP-based infrastructure
• Collaborate on DevSecOps standards and security practices
• Create golden paths and self-service automation for teams
• Lead development of agentic software and platform tools
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters and troubleshoot complex issues
• Define and manage Open Source program strategies
• Ensure security/compliance across platforms and OSS
• Document technical processes and lead knowledge sharing
