Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate scalable AWS environments, focusing on security, resilience, and automation. You will implement IaC using Terraform, build CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Candidates should have extensive AWS experience, Kubernetes, GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, FluxCD), and scripting skills in Python or Shell to automate tasks across development, testing, and production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience with 1+ year in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.
• 8+ years developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).
• 6+ years building pipelines with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Istio/Linkerd service mesh, and autoscaling with Karpenter.
• Strong scripting background (Python, Shell).
• Expertise with AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and security rules.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, cost-effective AWS environments using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Develop enterprise AWS solutions with security-first mindset for resilience and performance.
• Drive release automation through CI/CD pipelines supporting stateless, stateful, and serverless apps.
• Automate patching, upgrades, and upkeep of IaC and pipelines for health and compliance.
• Collaborate with external customers and internal teams to align infrastructure with needs.
• Lead automation across AWS infrastructure to minimize manual effort and errors.
• Contribute ideas to evolve cloud strategy and drive innovation.
