Job summary

SumUp is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for the US Platform Team in Boulder, CO. You will design infrastructure-as-code, drive automation, and act as a bridge between the US and global Platform Infrastructure teams to standardize roadmaps.

You’ll lead monitoring, incident response, and internal tooling while enabling product teams to deploy, monitor, and scale services across distributed environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering at a senior level in distributed environments.
• Deep expertise with AWS services and Kubernetes, including cluster design and multi-tenant management.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD design using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions for automation across the US engineering org to speed deployments.
• Act as the technical connector between the US Platform team and global Platform Infrastructure, aligning standards and roadmap.
• Improve monitoring, observability, and incident response with cross-timezone on-call practices and post-mortems.
