Job summary

Synergy ECP, headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, is recruiting a Platform Engineer to build, test, and maintain infrastructure and tooling that speeds software development and release cycles. You will partner with development and operations to automate processes, boost reliability, and enhance deployment pipelines.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Ansible experience, a focus on automation, and a strong eye for continuous improvement. The role requires TS/SCI w/ Polygraph, U.S.

Qualifications

• CWIP: IAT Level 1
• Tech Experience: Linux
• Years of Experience: Degree preferred, at least 10 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure platform security, compliance, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues.
• Design, build, and maintain internal platforms that support application development and deployment.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve developer experience and deployment workflows.
