Job summary

Synergy ECP is looking for a Full-time Platform Engineer at Level 1 to provide crucial systems administration support for enterprise services offered to the U.S. government. The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in Platform Engineering and possess a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related field. Responsibilities include software scripting, troubleshooting, and maintaining highly available operating systems and applications.

The position demands experience with Linux, Unix, Windows, and messaging services, as well as the ability to write Ansible playbooks and run security scans on systems. This role requires holding TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience as a Platform Engineer.
• Ability to write scripts and maintain storage arrays.
• Experience configuring, troubleshooting, monitoring, and testing various messaging services.

Responsibilities

• Load, configure, and patch the operating system.
• Review logs to diagnose system problems.
• Create and maintain virtual machines.
