Fieldwire by Hilti is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer focused on tooling and automation to accelerate feature deployment and platform evolution. You will own the design, maintenance, and reliability of cloud infrastructure and production systems powering Fieldwire applications used by construction teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5-7+ years as Platform/DevOps/SRE with production ownership.
• Proficient in one or more languages such as Go, Java, Python, Ruby, or Rust.
• Experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD at scale.
• Deep experience with Docker in production.
• Strong on-call and incident management experience.
• Proficient in IaC (CDK, Terraform) and secure patterns.
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence decisions.

Responsabilités

• Own health, scalability, and security of Fieldwire's production infrastructure.
• Architect platform for future growth with leadership on technical direction.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability systems.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis; implement preventive measures.
• Mentor engineers on infrastructure best practices and secure design.
• Drive tooling, processes, and standards to improve development velocity.
• Participate in/on-call rotation with ownership of change and incident management.
